Description
We are developing TheFireWall – a deployable water mist barrier designed to prevent wildfires from escalating into large-scale disasters. As climate change intensifies wildfire risks globally, there is a growing need for solutions that can operate in real-world conditions and protect critical infrastructure, ecosystems, and urban interfaces. We are interested in contributing to a consortium focused on Earth Intelligence and environmental observation by providing a real-world deployment case where data, monitoring, and predictive insights can be combined with physical intervention. TheFireWall can serve as a practical application layer, where environmental data (e.g. temperature, wind, and fire behavior) can be integrated to improve timing, placement, and effectiveness of wildfire prevention measures. Our goal is to: test and validate TheFireWall in real environments collaborate with partners working on environmental monitoring and AI explore how data-driven insights can enhance wildfire prevention and response
