Only United States small business concerns (SBCs) are eligible.
Must propose clinical trials as part of the application.
Must be based in the United States.
SBCs must have not more than 500 employees.
PDs/PIs should have limited entrepreneurial and independent research leadership experience.
Encourages participation from diverse backgrounds.
Support for research and development efforts.
Entrepreneurial training and mentorship.
Early-career scientists and health professionals.
Successful transition of scientists into entrepreneurial roles.
Development of promising technologies and products.
PDs/PIs should possess research skills and experience in scientific discovery or technology development.
Applications must identify at least one mentor with extensive entrepreneurial experience.
Phase I: Up to $306,872.
Phase II: Up to $2,045,816.
