Applications are evaluated based on a scoring system, with a total of
5 possible points. An application is eligible for funding if it achieves at least
3 points.
- Justification of Scholarship Need: Up to 1 point is awarded if the reasons provided for needing the scholarship are clearly related to ensuring your ability to study.
- Justification of Re-/Up-skilling Need: Up to 1 point is awarded if your stated need for re-skilling or up-skilling is well-justified, and the reason for taking the course is relevant and timely.
- Course Results: Points are awarded based on your final mark in the short-term course:
- A final mark of 8 (on a 10-point scale) earns 1 point.
- A final mark of 9 earns 2 points.
- A final mark of 10 earns 3 points.
Applications that meet the minimum 3-point threshold are then prioritized by their total score, with higher-scoring applications being considered first.
