Purpose & Target

The core objective of 'THE HUBS' grant is to empower the European live music sector by fostering collaborative peer-learning groups among Live DMA members. These groups will address shared challenges, exchange expertise, and develop concrete, scalable solutions for the benefit of the entire network. - Target Recipient Type and Size: Live DMA members, specifically national or regional live music associations. Applicants must form consortia of 2 or more members. - SECTOR-SPECIFIC or SECTOR-AGNOSTIC: SECTOR-SPECIFIC (live music sector). - Geographic Scope: Europe, focused on strengthening transnational cooperation among Live DMA members. - Key Filtering Criteria: Applicants must be Live DMA members, be national or regional live music associations, and apply as a consortium of 2 or more members. - Grant Frequency: This is a specific call within the ongoing Live Style Europe III program. - Program Context: Part of the Live Style Europe III (LSE III) program, which aims to strengthen the Live DMA network and empower the live music sector.

Financial Structure

  • Total budget for the call is EUR 48,000.
  • Financial support is provided to facilitate staff exchanges, training sessions, and collaborative projects.
  • No minimum or maximum grant amount per HUB is specified, but applicants must detail how they split the budget with their roles and responsibilities within their consortium.

Eligibility Requirements

Organizational Type and Affiliation
  • Applicants must be Live DMA members.
  • Eligible organizations are national or regional live music associations.
  • Organizations must participate in a HUB consortium (group of applicants).
  • A consortium must consist of 2 or more Live DMA members.
  • Members can participate in only one HUB and submit one application.
Geographic and Operational Requirements
  • Organizations must be part of the European live music sector and engage in transnational cooperation.
  • Proposed actions must address challenges relevant within the Live DMA network.
Application Specifics
  • Application must be submitted by an eligible applicant.
  • Application must be in English.

Application Process

Application Timeline
  • Call for HUBS opened on 1st June 2025.
  • Deadline for submission is 15th November 2025.
  • Evaluation period concludes before 18th June 2025 (project start date).
Submission Process
  • The application form is a single document to be completed and submitted by each HUB consortium.
  • Submission must be made electronically via the Framaforms link: 'https://framaforms.org/hubs-application-form-1747729200'.
  • Email submissions are not accepted.
  • The application must be submitted in English.
  • Applicants must respect the number of characters indicated in each section of the application form.
Required Materials
  • Completed application form.

Evaluation and Notification
  • The Live DMA coordination team will evaluate projects.
  • Evaluation consists of a screening to ensure fit with objectives and conditions.
  • The coordination team may request additional information, clarification, or missing information during evaluation. Failure to provide this on time will result in refusal.
  • Each applicant will receive an evaluation grid with comments and advice before the project start.

Evaluation Criteria

Project Relevance and Alignment
  • Projects will be screened to ensure they fit the HUBS objectives and conditions.
  • Proposed activities must demonstrate a clear solution to a problem/challenge previously identified within the Live DMA network (e.g., inclusion, accessibility, gender gaps, green transition, noise complaints, rising costs, gentrification, audience behaviors, lack of public support).
  • Activities should directly address identified challenges by placing collaboration at the heart of the proposed solution.
Impact and Knowledge Sharing
  • Activities should share useful knowledge or experiences that other Live DMA members can learn from and use in their own work.
  • Potential to create scalable solutions that benefit the entire Live DMA network.
Collaboration and Synergy
  • Projects should foster collaborations and exchanges among Live DMA members on shared challenges or priorities.
  • Projects should enhance and improve synergies between Live DMA members through smaller networking groups.
Compliance
  • Applicants must provide all requested, adequate, additional, or missing information during the evaluation phase on time to avoid refusal.
